Miss Bongo has agreed to become Mrs Bongo

by backpackingbongos

I am a rather cautious person and don’t like to rush into things.  Therefore I thought that I should wait for 20 years before asking my partner Corrina to marry me.  She said yes!

  1. Excellent news, Mr B. You may have been together 20 years, but reaffirming you commitment to each other in this way can only be a very good thing. When’s the party?

Slightly disappointed that you couldn’t accompany the post with a pic of Corrina’s expression when you popped the proverbial!

    • No idea of a date yet Mr Edwards but we are going to get our priorities sorted first. This involves booking the Honeymoon and planning around that, we both agree that the honeymoon bit is the most important! Corrina had a mouthful of spaghetti at the time of asking………………

  2. Congratulations to you both! I shall raise a glass to your continuing happiness!

Took me 10 years to ask Mrs PhilR

  18. Congrats to both of you – your life will change forever! Me and the wife had been together 14 years before we made it formal – no sense in taking chances.

Now in light of other comments on some of your other posts, what exactly do you mean by a “mouthful of spaghetti”?

  19. It’s good to hear that lots of others like to take their time as well!
